Erbil, Kurdistan Region, Iraq (dfr.gov.krd) – For the first time, the Kurdistan flag was flown alongside the Union Jack in a formal municipal ceremony in a recent event in the naval city of Portsmouth to mark Newroz, the Kurdish National Day and new year.
